Intermezzo

An intermezzo is a composition that fits between other musical or dramatic entities, such as acts of a play or movements of a larger musical work. In this context – built and written – the intermezzo consists of a series of double-sided joints located between the interior spaces of the nine essays comprising the urban texture of the book.
