This text provides a very short introduction to my definition and development of the term ‘critical spatial practice’ as way of approaching Frontier – The Line of Style. I hope that by outlining some of my thinking about the specifically spatial and critical aspects of interdisciplinary processes that operate between art and architecture when located in the urban realm, it is possible to open up aspects of the project in three different ways – through the spatial, temporal and social.
